The ASR Project is a nonpartisan, science-led project strengthening the conditions that allow American science to serve the public good.

Our work focuses on the systems that support academic research, data science, AI-enabled discovery, biomedical research and clinical trials, public health and disease surveillance, regulatory science and health data, grantmaking and peer review, scientific integrity, workforce adaptation, and public trust. 

ASR is grounded in continuity, comity, and renewal: preserving the knowledge science depends on, convening across difference, and building shared tools for the work ahead.
